At Shelters to Shutters, we are honored to announce that we have received a $30,730 donation from the 2018 Fannie Mae DUS^® Advisory Council Charity Golf Tournament.

The event was held in late April at the Falconhead Golf Club in Austin, Texas. All proceeds from the tournament were donated to S2S. The Fannie Mae DUS^® Lender Advisory Council consists of 10 DUS (Delegated Underwriting and Servicing) lender representatives that advise Fannie Mae Multifamily leadership on a variety of strategic matters.

The event offered a great occasion to share S2S’s mission and further discuss how private industry can make a vital impact in the fight against homelessness.

We are truly grateful for this fundraising opportunity and look forward to a continued partnership.

2018 represents a period of exciting growth for S2S as we aim to expand our program into new markets and move more people experiencing homelessness into lives of self-sufficiency. This donation the Advisory Council Charity Golf Tournament will help us achieve that growth and transform lives.

S2S also recently received a $100,000 donation from Summit Contracting Group and is NMHC’s designated beneficiary charity for the second year in a row. Additionally, we are participating in the fourth cohort of Stand Together’s Catalyst Network program, which will provide training and resources to help S2S build operational capacity.
