Bobbie Pollard of Bell Partners Joins S2S National Capital Region Advisory Board

Vienna, VA – June 20, 2022 — Shelters to Shutters (S2S) is pleased to welcome to its National Capital Region City Advisory Board Bobbie Pollard, Vice President of Operations, Bell Partners.  The new addition to the Shelters to Shutters National Capital Region City Advisory Board will support the S2S mission to transition individuals and families from homelessness to economic self-sufficiency through partnerships with apartment companies.

“Bobbie’s extensive experience within the multifamily industry along with her passion for charitable work will immediately add value to the National Capital Region City Advisory Board,” said Kristen Komlosy, Executive Director of Shelters to Shutters of the National Capital Region.

S2S partners with over 30 apartment management companies to place people experiencing homelessness in onsite, entry-level jobs, and provide them with housing at the same communities where they work. S2S provides each participant with career training, mentoring and access to support services to ensure a successful long-term transition. S2S works with multiple at risk and homeless-focused referring partners to identify suitable job applicants. The program changes the lives of individuals and families while providing quality, motivated employees for a rapidly growing industry in need of talent.

Bobbie Pollard has 20+ years of experience in property management and is currently the VP of Operations for Bell Partners.  She has a passion for helping others and finding solutions to difficult situations.  She is a skilled leader in negotiation, apartments, rentals, and management.  When she is not at work, Bobbie enjoys traveling and everything that involves time with her daughter.
