“My new position and new home means a lot for us, now I can afford to pay daycare for daughter, I couldn’t do it before!”
Chantale’s journey to success began at a Jobs Partnership career fair, where she discovered Entryway Central Florida. Originally from Haiti, Chantale had been working as a medical technician but struggled to find stability and a sustainable long-term career. As a new mother, she knew it was time for a change and sought a stable career for her and her child.
Determined to create a better future, Chantale dove into her new path. Each night after her job at an assisted living facility, she dedicated herself to completing Entryway’s online training and Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) training. On her days off, she committed to job shadowing for two days to gain practical experience. Her goal was clear: to build a thriving life for herself and her young daughter.
Chantale also took a Leasing 101 class through The Liberty Group, which led to her being referred for temporary placement. She worked on a temp assignment for several months, even being named the Liberty Group Orlando’s Employee of the Month, despite being new to the multifamily industry! She was soon hired full-time and in June of 2025, she graduated from the Entryway program after completing one full year as a Leasing Agent.
Chantale says, “I feel very hopeful about my future now and this organization does a wonderful job by helping people to strive and be successful.”
