Vienna, VA – November 15, 2022— Shelters to Shutters (S2S) is pleased to welcome to its National Capital Region City Advisory Board Devin Wirt, Vice President of Business Development for Livly. Devin’s addition to the Shelters to Shutters National Capital Region City Advisory Board will support the S2S mission to transition individuals and families from homelessness to economic self-sufficiency through partnerships with apartment companies.

His depth of knowledge to the multifamily industry will help deepen the impact of our work across the region as we look to provide a hand up to those in need. Our City Advisory Board is comprised of leaders within the community committed to the mission and to creating a sustainable pathway for the program in D.C., Maryland and Virginia as we work to provide employment and housing for individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness,” said Kristen Komlosy, Executive Director of Shelters to Shutters of the National Capital Region.
S2S partners with over 40 apartment management companies to place people experiencing homelessness in onsite, entry-level jobs and provide them with housing at the same communities where they work. S2S provides each participant with career mentoring and access to support services to ensure a successful long-term transition. S2S works with multiple homeless-focused non-profits and workforce training programs to identify suitable job applicants. The program changes the lives of individuals and families while providing quality, motivated employees for a rapidly growing industry in need of talent.
Devin Wirt currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development for Livly. He has over 15 years of experience in real estate and has sold two companies in the real estate industry.
