What is a Tax Credit?
A tax credit reduces the amount of tax you owe.
The state of Arizona provides a tax credit of up to $470 (single) or $938 (married filing jointly) when you donate to a Qualifying Charitable Organization, such as Entryway. This tax credit will go towards reducing the amount of state tax due.
For example, a contribution of $1 will reduce your tax by $1.

What is a Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO)?
A Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO) is determined by the state of Arizona to be an organization “that provides immediate basic needs to residents of Arizona who receive temporary assistance for needy families (TANF) benefits, are low income residents of Arizona, or are individuals who have a chronic illness or physical disability.”
Entryway Arizona has been granted approval as a QCO by the Arizona Department of Revenue in 2024. Our organization’s QCO code is 22711.

What is the maximum tax credit that I can receive?
In 2024, you can receive up to $470 (single) or $938 (married filing jointly) in tax credit for contributions to QCOs.
How much should I donate?
There is no minimum requirement. You can donate any amount and still be eligible to receive the tax credit.
Will you provide a receipt for my donation?
Yes. After you donate, a receipt will be sent to the email address you provided. You may use this receipt for tax purposes.
