Richotte brings his expertise in forging impactful partnerships in the multifamily housing industry to support Entryway’s work to transition individuals and families out of homelessness with their real estate partners
VIENNA, VA – November 25, 2024 – Entryway, a workforce development, employment and housing nonprofit, announced today that Brian Richotte, Director of Multifamily National Accounts for Ferguson, has joined its National Board of Directors to serve a three-year term. Richotte has served in various leadership positions over his 16-year career with Ferguson, the largest value-added distributor serving the specialized professional in the $340B residential and non-residential North American construction market.
In his current role, Richotte leads an experienced and high performing team of National Account Managers who build corporate office relationships within the multifamily sector. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Oregon and a bachelor’s degree from Radford University. A former two-time All-American in the hammer throw, he also competed in the Olympic trials in 2008 and 2012.

Entryway sources, screens, trains and places highly motivated and capable individuals in high demand on-site jobs in partnership with 90 leading apartment owners and operators. The organization works with multiple referring partners in each of its local markets as well as nationally to identify suitable job applicants who are struggling with or at risk of homelessness. Entryway upskills program participants through online and in-person training opportunities to get them ready for full time positions in the apartment industry such as leasing, maintenance and groundskeeping. Entryway also offers participants interview skills, job coaching, financial literacy and access to 1:1 mentoring. The program changes the lives of individuals and families while providing quality, motivated employees for a rapidly growing industry in need of talent.
