VIENNA, VA – February 25, 2025 Entryway is pleased to announce that Jamaal Sanders has been appointed as the new North Texas Executive Director. A seasoned nonprofit leader with extensive experience at the local, state, and national levels, Jamaal brings a strong background in program development, community engagement, and strategic leadership. His expertise will be instrumental in furthering Entryway’s mission of transitioning individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness to economic self-sufficiency through employment, housing, and career training.
Prior to joining Entryway, Jamaal served as Senior Director of Community Impact at Compudopt, where he led efforts to bridge the digital divide by expanding technology access and digital literacy programs for underserved communities. Previously, he served as Director of Upward Bound programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs, where he developed and implemented college readiness and academic enrichment initiatives for first-generation and low-income students. His career reflects a deep commitment to empowering individuals and strengthening communities through education, mentorship, and service.

Jamaal holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and a master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys cooking, fishing, and spending time with his family.
