Lument executive brings decades of multifamily real estate experience to nonprofit advancing economic mobility.
VIENNA, VA – June 3, 2025 – Entryway, a national nonprofit dedicated to transitioning individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness to economic self-sufficiency in partnership with the real estate industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Sebree to its National Board of Directors.
John Sebree serves as Senior Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Investment Sales at Lument, where he leads the firm’s nationwide platform for multifamily investment sales. With decades of experience in real estate brokerage, underwriting, and leadership, Sebree brings a deep understanding of the multifamily sector and a strong commitment to workforce housing and community impact.
Prior to joining Lument, Sebree was Senior Vice President at Marcus & Millichap, where he oversaw the firm’s Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) multifamily division. Under his direction, IPA became one of the nation’s most successful real estate investment sales groups. Earlier in his career, Sebree was a top-producing broker and played a key role in expanding Marcus & Millichap’s presence in the Midwest.
“John’s expertise in multifamily housing and investment strategy is an invaluable addition to Entryway’s national leadership,” said David Williams, President & CEO of Entryway. “His decades-long dedication to the housing industry—combined with his insight into both institutional capital and community needs—will help advance our mission to create long-term stability for those we serve.”
Sebree is an Executive Committee Member of the National Multifamily Housing Council and currently serves on its Government Affairs Committees. He is also a member of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and a past board member of the Chicagoland Apartment Association.
“I’m honored to join the board of an organization that’s providing housing and employment solutions for a vulnerable population in such a strategic and outcomes-driven way,” said Sebree. “Entryway is bridging critical gaps between the real estate industry and people seeking a second chance—and I’m proud to support that work on a national level.”
Entryway partners with the real estate industry to provide career training, employment, and housing opportunities to individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
