VIENNA, Va. – June 5, 2024 –Entryway, a national non-profit that transitions individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness to economic self-sufficiency announced today the launch of its innovative program in Austin, San Antonio, and the surrounding areas. The nonprofit, which partners directly with the multifamily industry, has named Leah Baker as Central Texas Executive Director. Leah will work with the Austin Apartment Association and the Central Texas Advisory Board, comprised of prominent leaders in the multifamily industry, to kick start operations in Entryway’s 12th market.

Leah comes to Entryway with over a decade of successful experience in organizational leadership and operations.  Leah started her career in property management in 2008 and has worked for Camden, Westdale, RPM and Avenue5. Most recently, she was the Executive Director for Project Transitions, which offers transitional housing and support services for those living with HIV.  Her personal mission is to use her skills and knowledge to empower others.
