Entryway is pleased to announce the appointment of Mary Jo George, Partner at Ballard Spahr LLP, to our National Board of Directors.
Mary Jo brings more than three decades of experience in real estate finance, affordable housing, and federally insured lending programs. As co-lead of Ballard Spahr’s Housing Industry Team, she is widely recognized for her expertise in multifamily and senior housing finance, including FHA insurance, Ginnie Mae mortgage-backed securities, and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac financing programs.
Her work has earned national recognition, including repeated listings in The Best Lawyers in America and The Legal 500, as well as being named one of Real Estate Forum’s “Women of Influence.”
Mary Jo is no stranger to Entryway. She previously served on our National Capital Region City Advisory Board, where she provided strategic guidance and championed our mission to help individuals and families experiencing situational homelessness rebuild their lives through stable employment and housing opportunities.

Mary Jo is admitted to the bar in the District of Columbia and Maryland. She earned her J.D. with honors from The George Washington University Law School and her A.B., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
