Entryway Welcomes Sara Shean to National Board of Directors

VIENNA, VA – June 10, 2025 – Entryway, a national nonprofit dedicated to transitioning individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness to economic self-sufficiency in partnership with the real estate industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sara Shean to our National Board of Directors. A recognized leader in the financial services industry, Sara brings more than two decades of expertise in defined contribution investment strategy and a deep commitment to advancing economic opportunity.

As Managing Director at PGIM Private Alternatives, Sara is Head of Global Defined Contribution and contributes her insights across multiple industry associations, including the Defined Contribution Real Estate Council, the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association, and the Defined Contribution Alternatives Association. Her leadership on investment policy and design has shaped best practices for incorporating private investments within defined contribution plans.

Sara joins Entryway’s national leadership with hands on experiencing volunteering directly with the program in the National Capital Region. Her passion for helping others has been evident in her commitment to Entryway’s mission to transition individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness to economic self-sufficiency.

Throughout her career—including roles at Cohen & Steers and nearly 20 years at J.P. Morgan—Sara has focused on creating meaningful financial outcomes for institutional clients. Sara holds a degree in Economics and Business Management from Cornell University and is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional.
