After a medical crisis left Michael and Jessica and their two boys experiencing homelessness, Entryway helped them rebuild their lives. Michael had not been feeling well for a few weeks causing him to miss work and get behind on the family bills. A heart attack struck followed by weeks in the hospital. The family was evicted from their home and did their best to scrape by and stay in motels.
They were referred to our program in Central Florida. Through Entryway and Entryway partner Riverstone Communities, both Michael and Jessica received full-time employment and moved into a furnished unit on-site where they work. They both have stable careers, a safe home, and a brighter future for their children. Their boys are thriving, growing up with security and opportunity that will ripple through their lives and into their community.
