Entryway Appoints Melanie French, CEO of RR Living, to National Board of Directors

VIENNA, VA – April 14, 2025 – Entryway, a national nonprofit dedicated to transitioning individuals and families experiencing homelessness to economic self-sufficiency through employment and housing, is pleased to announce the appointment of Melanie French, CEO of RR Living, to its National Board of Directors.

With over 20 years of executive leadership in multifamily real estate, French brings a wealth of experience in property operations, strategic planning, and organizational development. As the first CEO of RR Living, she is committed to creating communities where residents feel truly at home—a vision that aligns seamlessly with Entryway’s mission.

“Melanie has already demonstrated her deep commitment to Entryway’s mission through her service on our North Texas City Advisory Board and her leadership at RR Living, one of our valued Industry Partners,” said David Williams, President & CEO of Entryway. “She has firsthand experience working with Entryway participants, seeing the challenges they face and the opportunities that stable housing and employment provide. Her insight as a hiring partner, coupled with her expertise in multifamily housing, will be invaluable as we continue expanding our impact. We are thrilled to welcome her to the National Board.”

French previously served on Entryway’s North Texas City Advisory Board and played a key role in strengthening local partnerships. Under her leadership, RR Living became an Entryway Industry Partner, providing both housing and employment opportunities for program participants.

“In the multifamily industry, one of our challenges is finding and developing great talent,” said Melanie French. “Entryway provides an innovative solution—not only helping companies like RR Living address workforce needs but also lifting individuals out of homelessness and onto a path of long-term stability. I am honored to join the National Board and help further Entryway’s mission of creating lasting change for individuals, families, and communities.”

In addition to her role at RR Living, French is a member of the Forbes® Council, Multifamily Innovation® Council, and Chief® network and is a frequent speaker at leading real estate conferences. Her dedication to mentorship and leadership development will be invaluable as Entryway continues to grow its programs and partnerships.
