VIENNA, VA – April 28, 2026 – Entryway, a national nonprofit dedicated to opening doors to career opportunities and stable housing for individuals at risk and experiencing situational homelessness, today announced the appointment of Tyler Christiansen, CEO and Board Director of Funnel, to its National Board of Directors.
Christiansen is a recognized leader in multifamily technology and brings a strong track record of innovation, industry influence, and philanthropic commitment. As CEO of Funnel, he led the company’s transformation into a leading RentTech platform supporting more than 1.5 million apartment units across North America.
“Tyler brings a rare combination of industry leadership, forward-thinking innovation, and a deep personal commitment to giving back,” said David Williams, CEO of Entryway. “His perspective on the evolving multifamily landscape, particularly through technology and centralization, will be invaluable as we continue to scale our impact. Just as important, Tyler and his family have already demonstrated a genuine passion for our mission, and we are honored to welcome him to Entryway’s National Board.”
Christiansen’s connection to Entryway is both professional and personal. Over the past several years, he served on Entryway’s Central Florida City Advisory Board, helping to strengthen and expand opportunities for participants. His wife, Kari, is actively engaged as a volunteer, further reflecting the family’s shared commitment to community impact.
Through Funnel, Christiansen champions corporate social responsibility initiatives that align closely with Entryway’s mission through HOME by Funnel Inc. (HOME), a 501(c)(3) focused on providing equitable housing opportunities. HOME’s impact scales with Funnel’s growth, with $1 given to HOME for every lease signed using Funnel’s online leasing solution. Through this initiative, Funnel has supported Entryway’s work to help individuals and families move into stable housing and career pathways.
“I’ve seen firsthand the impact Entryway has, not just in opening doors to employment and housing, but in changing the trajectory of people’s lives,” said Christiansen. “I’m honored to join the National Board and support the organization’s continued growth. There is a tremendous opportunity for our industry to come together in new ways, and I’m excited to help advance that vision.”
Christiansen led the launch of the Funnel brand and product in 2019. He was named CEO in 2020 and has since overseen significant growth, expanding the company from 30 employees to more than 175 and broadening its reach across North America. He is known for advancing centralization and AI as a transformative multifamily operational shift and for championing Funnel’s P.I.N.K. Core Values.
As Entryway continues to expand its national footprint and deepen partnerships across the real estate industry, the addition of leaders like Christiansen reflects the organization’s commitment to building a strong, engaged board that can help drive long-term, sustainable impact.
Entryway currently operates in eleven markets across the country: Arizona, Atlanta, Central Florida, Central Texas, Columbus, OH, Denver, Houston, Nashville, North Carolina, North Texas, and South Carolina.

About Funnel:
Funnel provides a win for three vital groups: operators looking to reduce costs and improve efficiencies; stretched-thin onsite teams who demand a better long-term career; and renters who deserve a better customer experience. Funnel’s proven agentic AI CRM platform is the enterprise-grade solution industry leaders trust to deliver a streamlined, consistent, and connected experience from first inquiry through years of renewals, while simultaneously saving operators quantifiable money through the operational flexibility only a renter-centric® platform can provide. We call it Renter Management Software; our clients call it the new operating model.
About HOME by Funnel:
Home by Funnel Inc. — affectionately known as Housing Opportunities Made Equal or HOME — is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on tackling one of our nation’s biggest challenges: equitable housing. HOME is partially funded by Funnel Leasing, Inc. through its donation of $1 for each new lease signed and completed using Funnel Leasing’s online leasing solution. This ongoing, scalable funding mechanism continues to grow the impact of HOME, as renters find their next home. Instead of giving via flashy, infrequent checks for photo ops, HOME builds meaningful relationships with partner organizations to realize the impact of funds raised because it knows that equitable housing is vital and will take time to improve.
