Grace Hill CEO Matt Cotter Joins Entryway National Board of Directors

Appointment builds on a long-term partnership advancing career training and employment opportunities in the multifamily industry.

VIENNA, VA — October 28, 2026 — Entryway, a national nonprofit that creates pathways to economic self-sufficiency through career training, employment and housing opportunities, is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Cotter, Chief Executive Officer of Grace Hill, to its National Board of Directors.

Cotter brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across technology, real estate and software, along with a valuable perspective on workforce development and the evolving needs of the multifamily industry.

His appointment builds on a longstanding partnership between Entryway and Grace Hill. For the past three years, Entryway has utilized Grace Hill’s learning management platform to provide participants with industry-specific training in apartment maintenance, leasing and groundskeeping, helping prepare them for meaningful careers in multifamily housing.

“Grace Hill has been an important partner in helping Entryway equip individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to enter the multifamily workforce,” said David Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Entryway. “Having Matt join our National Board is an exciting next chapter in that relationship. His leadership experience and understanding of the industry will be valuable as we continue expanding opportunities for individuals and families experiencing homelessness while helping our industry address its workforce needs.”

Cotter joined Grace Hill as CEO in June 2026. Previously, he served as CEO of PairSoft, a financial automation software company, and held executive leadership positions at Altus Group and ExactBid. He has also served on the boards of Class Valuation and Verafin. Cotter earned his bachelor’s degree from Duke University.

“Grace Hill’s partnership with Entryway has shown us the impact that access to industry training can have on someone’s future. The multifamily industry has a tremendous opportunity to invest in people who are ready to build meaningful careers, and Entryway is helping make those connections possible. I’m excited to join the National Board and support the organization’s continued growth and impact.”

As a member of Entryway’s National Board of Directors, Cotter will help guide the organization’s strategic growth and strengthen its connections across the multifamily industry.
