David Williams

President & CEO

David A. Williams is a well-respected nonprofit executive with a proven track record of transforming organizations and driving growth. Starting his career as an accountant at Shell Oil Company, Williams transitioned to nonprofit leadership after volunteering with the Houston-Galveston Area Food Bank, where he led the organization to become one of the largest and most successful food banks in the country during his 11-year tenure. He subsequently held executive roles at Habitat for Humanity and served as President/CEO of Make-A-Wish America, overseeing significant revenue growth and expansion of services. Since 2021, Williams has led Entryway (formerly Shelters to Shuttles) with an ambitious vision for nationwide growth.

Chris Finlay

Founder & Chairman

Chris Finlay is currently the CEO of Middleburg Communities, a fully integrated multifamily development, investment, construction and management company operating in the southeastern and mid-Atlantic United States. With a distinguished career spanning over 15 years in commercial real estate, Chris has led the acquisition and development of nearly 18,000 apartment units valued at over $1.5 billion. A former U.S. Marine and honors graduate of the University of South Carolina, he is deeply committed to community impact, founding Shelters to Shutters (now Entryway), a national nonprofit addressing situational homelessness. Chris also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Multifamily Housing Council and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
